quick update...

I just came on to say: NO BABY YET! ARGH! lol! I went in yesterday and I am still at 1cm and all contractions have stopped. this kid is determined NOT to come out, lol! Oh well... Good news though - no weight gain (yay!) and bp was back to my normal (106/60) so I was really happy about that... BUT... guess what??? I'M STINKIN SICK! lol! yuck. I plan on staying in bed all day and resting b/c I really don't want to be sick when baby decides to make his appearance.... :( I feel soooooooooo darn yucky! This is really surprising b/c I got my flu shot (dr's orders!) a couple of appts ago so I really didn't think I'd be getting sick... grrr! :17: I'm drinking theraflu right now so hopefully after a couple of more hours of sleep, I'll feel better... (let's just hope the kiddos stay asleep with me, lol! theraflu usually knocks me out!)

Oh - and CONGRATS TO SINEAD! yippee! Can't wait to see pics!

Drat! I thought that all of the excitement about Sinead's baby would push you into that competitive zone where you'd pop him out! LOL. That is awful to be sick. Hopefully you'll get better before he arrives. HUGS! Hang in there.

Awww Marsha, I hope your little guy makes his appearance soon! Of course you better get to feeling better first though! You know I've gotten a flu shot with my previous 2 pregnancies & both times got the flu a few months later. Although both were milder cases than what they were without getting the shot, I'm just waiting to get the flu this time too since I just got my flu shot a week ago! We'll all be thinking of you!!

Oh no!! I hope it's just a 24 hour thing!! And you never know when real labor will start. I was 3 cm with Henry for 2 weeks before he was born- talk about getting excited for nothing! LOL! Perhaps tomorrow!! Is tomorrow good for you?? :o)

Ick...sorry you are sick!! My little Chloe got a cold right after getting her second flu shot...and then the rest of us caught it...maybe it's a side effect of the shot? Pretty weird, either way :P

Sorry to hear that you are sick AND that you haven't had the little one yet. It will be better for you and the baby if you are well when he is born, so it's probably a good thing he is wanting to wait!

Thanks for the well wishes! :60: I feel *a little* better today but still stuffy and foggy headed. :( DD woke up around 6 am so we made scarves together. I'll have to post a photo... they came out so cute! I'm going to try to convince her to take a nap with me before ds wakes up, lol! We'll see. :)
