Photoshop brushes

I know how to make brushes and use the preset to save a set etc.

However, my older version of Photoshop did not have the brushes tool pallette to set all the brush dynamics etc. Or just exactly what they all do.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for this? So far I've only figured out spacing, overall size, and rotation.

I've been able to find most of what I needed - gotta love actually using the Help section of the program, as well as a good explanation I found online here:
