I was reading my CK today, and saw the requirements for the 2008 Hall of Fame contest.
And started considering trying for it!

I know I'm not in the same league as Angela, but I'm half-tempted to give it a shot.

So now everyone can tell me all the reasons I shouldn't...

Thanks, everyone. DH thinks I'm slightly crazy, but hasn't said not to do it.
Sinead, you did it a couple years ago. Are you glad you did? Were you a nervous wreck on call day? I'll definitely stop doing it if I realize I'd be heartbroken if I didn't get in, since I know better

I was a pretty new scrapper at the time, and I honestly wasn't even paying attention on call day, as I knew that I wouldn't get a call. I did MMM last year and was a little disappointed when I didn't get a call, but I enjoyed the process. I've got a hard time not posting layouts, so that was the hardest thing for me.

Ok I'm sorry but I have to be devil's advocate....have you seen the HOF huge problems and drama thread at 2 peas???

I'm surprised they are still doing it. I bet they get sued.

But maybe it will be so much better next year. Go for it

Actually, given all the problems they had this year (and I'm well aware of them), this is probably the BEST year to enter, since all eyes will be how things go with this year. I think this will be a "make or break" year for the HOF contest.
