Stupid Stupid Foot....

I am beyond annoyed with my foot right now, it is still sore and swollen! So I had a follow up appt with my PCP, who is an internist, so he admitted to knowing very little about issues like this... So he referred me to a foot doctor (I find it somewhat humorous he called him a foot doctor and not a podiatrist LOL), the doc is down the hall from my PCP, so he was hoping i could get in today but no appointments and they were already backed up...so no squeezing me in... DARN! BUT I do go back tomorrow afternoon so I don't have to wait to long.

My PCP also suggested that it very well may not be Achilles Tendonitis, but did not rule out the possibility either.

Sorry that he didn't have any answers for you today Deena. Hopefully tomorrow the Podiatrist can give you a better answer.

I am rockin a stylish black boot, all the way to my knee.... it sure is lovely!!

So I went to the foot doc today, and she seems to think I ruptured my Plantar tendon, i go friday for an MRI of my foot to find out for sure, then we will know more. Tuesday is my follow up. No idea how long I'm gonna have this stupid boot though

oh no!! I don't know what all that means, but "rupture" never sounds good, and a big ol' boot here at the beginning of warm weather sounds hot. I hope that it's a good prognosis on Tuesday and the boot isn't a summer-long thing!! Get better soon!

Glad you are closer to a diagnosis and on your way to getting better with you boot (I am assuming it is helping with the pain?)
