Seriously though, since I've begun doing hybrid goodies, I am so incredibly interested in the trash! I keep thinking, "Now, I could embellish that container, and that would make an awesome little gift!" I promise I'm not digging in the trash - just not throwing the good stuff away

Today, I saved a plastic peanut butter jar and the glass jelly jar. They'll be in the gallery soon, no doubt. Transformed with digi supplies and filled with goodies!!

I annoy the heck out of my DH. I keep everything! Not scrapbooking related but just today I made my DH save a box from a ride on toy we got Jack so I could make it into a costume. :rofl:

coffee cans.

i've started a few- mostly related to evan's birthday next month. the coffee cans will be used for something else, though. thinking pencil and crayon cans for the boys, and i have a few jelly jars that would make nice banks for the boys.

I have SO many coffee cans. Last year, our church needed coffee cans, and I was able to donate about 8 of them. I feel like a hermit sometimes. I currently have about 6 empty coffee cans in my pantry.

Oh, and Crystal Lite containers. Probably about 12 of them. Falling out of my gift wrap closet.

I am so trashy.

Tamra, you were supposed to HIDE them. My husband has no idea how much trash I hoard. If he opened the closet, he would be appalled!

I am working on a Planters Peanut can now... I put my first jelly jar in the sink to soak the wrap off ... it is a beauty trying to decide what to do with it

I've been saving all different kinds of glass jars (after I put them in the dishwasher of course) but it's really just to serve as containers for my scrapbook room...uh, when I get it organized. :laught16:

I totally save things. I've also noticed that I'm wondering around places like walmart trying to find things that could be altered. It is fun to look at things with fresh eyes!

I saved a Converse shoe box. It's awesome looking and it'll fit my ribbons oh so nicely!
