Teacher Appreciation Week at my girls' school starts on the 20th, so I need to get my butt in gear. How about helping me come up with some easy but cute gifts for the teachers in our lives?
I love to make teachers clipboards. Have fun with it!
Here's a fave I did for the beginning of the year ... used a drink holder for Sonic Drive-In, decorated front and back, added ribbons, buttons, etc. Then I stuffed each side with her favorite snacks (peanut m&m's and Diet Coke)!
Stop by MY BLOG!
cute ideas! I've got lots of hybrid projects in my gallery that we've given as gifts. I would say it depends on how many you need - keep in mind I say that because my dd is in the middle school and has about 8 teachers she wants to give things to!! LOL
So we're going to try to keep it simple this year
What about filling one of Kelleigh's popcorn boxes with treats and a movie gift certificate (to theater or a rental place)? Always one of my fav gifts when I was teaching.
Check out my cool BLOG!
I always fill one of my little boxes or bags with Dutch Bros. Dutch Bucks (coffee cash!). This might sound cheap, but I typically give them either $3 or $6 - one or two coffees. It is always VERY popular!!
PS - I used to be a teacher, and the one thing the teacher does NOT need is more nic-nacs. Things that are useful are better than things that are decorative. Of course, if it can be both, even better!!
Good points; I've had the same experience, Kelleigh.
I got the list from the director today, so here's what I'm working with:
Monday - flower day
Tuesday - relaxing day
Wednesday - note day
Thursday - special treat day
Friday - breakfast and snack day
I have several little things in mind so far. Yay!
