Update on TTC

Nope, I'm not preggo! DBF and I did some tests, and apparently we both have issues. That was quite tough to hear the diagnosis, even if I expected that something was wrong, but I'm getting more optimistic every day now that I know what's wrong and I'm sure they'll be able to fix things (even if it has to be through a IFV). I have an appointement in a specialized fertility center on September 21st, it's gonna be hard to wait until then!

In the meantime, I learned today that my BFF is 3 months preggo and I was relieved by my reaction to the news. I knew she was TTC too, and I was afraid to get jealous or sad when she would announce the big news... well, I was just soooo happy, so all is good!

I had quite a lot going on between all that medical stuff, vacation, trying to get back on track with weight loss and everyday life, but I missed you gals!!

I am sorry that you had such a difficult diagnose, but it's good to hear that you are getting more optimistic and that the fact that you know what is the reason somehow seems to give you some rest.
I can imagine it's a long wait untill September 21th.

I am sorry to hear there are issues... but very glad to hear they can be worked around

PS a friend of mine who was told she would never have kids naturally and should adopt, is now preggo via IVF with twins!!

It will happen Chloe! I have a friend who was told she would never conceive, they did the IVF and now they have an adorable set of twins.

Stop talking about all those twins, this will scare DBF out! LOL He's ok with the treatements but not so much with the chance of having twins!

Those men, they shouldn't know about details sometimes!

I have many friends who have had fertility problems, as well. Two of my GF had great success with IVF (both had twin ... sorry

) and then went on to conceive again without any assistance - much closer to their twins than expected!!! Best of luck to you in your journey

Wishing you the best. I also have four kiddos, all through IVF. Hubby and I both had issues, so we did not have a choice. We were successful twice. Second time I had triplets. Don't lose faith!!!!

I know what you mean about your reaction to your BFF. When I was TTC, it seemed like everyone I knew was pregnant. It was so hard to be genuinely happy for them. I generally eneded up avoiding the baby showers and just sending a gift.

We finally gave up on the fertility route. It just wasn't happening. But God opened the door to the beautiful miracle of adoption and I am so happy he did! I am now the proud Mommy of two gorgeous Korean babies. They are the light of my life.

I pray that your journey will lead you to a baby in your arms very soon!

Triplets?!

We had 3 tries, 2 successes (both singletons). The first time we thought it would be cool to have twins. Once we woke up to reality of a baby, we were hoping for only a single one the other attempts too!
