Model Release Forms

So I'm doing my first non-family photo shoot on Sunday. Sooo excited!

I know I need to do a model release form if I want to show off any of the pictures I take.I found a sample online, but it's written in legalese. Is that really necessary? Can I write something a little simpler/friendlier, or is it important to have all the legal garbledy-gook??

Why not just take the one that they gave you for FP and modify it to suit your needs? I'd personally probably stick with the legalese.

Or you could go with WordSmith's "What to Write" guide, which gives you all sorts of stuff, including a sample model release form...
