Got a new lens!!

I finally figured out what kind of lens I wanted & bought it last night!!! I have had my camera since last Chrismtas & never could decide which lens I really really wanted (or that I could afford), until this week. I fell in love right away with the pictures it takes!! I just wanted to share a few pic with you all.

Thanks ladies. I got a Sony 50mm f/1.8 S SAM DT lens. Now Im on the search for my next lens. Any suggestions or recommendations.

I've got a 50mm f/1.8, and I love it! That's probably the one I shoot with the most. Now I'm wishing for a Tokina 12-24mm. I'll be wishing for a while, though... lol

I just got a new lens this week: a 28-75mm f/2.8 that's awesome. Love it!!! Not sure if Tamron makes it for Sony or if you'd have to get another brand, but it's really, really cool. A great all-the-time lens

Oh, I've got one of those, it's awesome, isn't it? I LOVE it! I have it on the camera nearly all the time. Love being able to get good pics indoors and in woodland shade etc. And the bokeh - I'm in love with the bokeh! Switched back to the kit lens (18-70 can't remember the maximum aperture) on New Years Day so I could take wide-angle landscapes and it felt awful.

What camera have you got? I've got a Sony A200, with the 50mm and the kit lens. I'm thinking about getting the Carl Zeiss 16-80 mm to upgrade my zoom lens. Not sure if I can justify the cost though. I've read good reviews of it, but I'm not sure how much better the photos will be, particularly bearing in mind the photographer won't be any better!

Oh, I so miss my "nifty fifty"! I've actually had two broken and haven't been able to get a new one since the last one was broken, but I say all the time how much I miss it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
