    Anyone use Illustrator?

Sorry to post this here, but I thought someone on the board might know...

I've figured out enough about Illustrator to be a little bit dangerous... still have so much to learn. One thing I cannot figure out though is how to use the filters. I went to Help and it said that a lot of them can't be used on CMYK images, so I checked and I was definitely in RGB. I'm not sure what else to do?

    Hi Kate,
I think I know what the problem is. First, select all (control A) and go to the filter menu bar, choose "colors", then convert to RGB. Then, you need to rasterize the art (make sure you've done all your vector changes). Go to the Object menu bar, then select Rasterize. When the pop-up window opens, choose RGB as your color model (very important. If it says CMYK, it won't work).

    Hope this helps!

    Susan
