People say "It's the thought that counts, not the gift", but couldn't people think a little bigger?
Yay! Good on you Roben-Marie. I'd love to see a tutorial about recolouring items. I know all about the hue/saturation slider, but that doesn't always work if I'm after a specific colour. Especially if what I have is say a pastel pink flower and I want to change it to a Bright purple or something. I use CS3 (hoping to get CS5 next week).

Roben-Marie. Your timing is perfect. I have been scouring the web for the past hour looking for drop shadow tutorials. I got sick of searching and remembered that Heather has some tutorials in the shop here.

But what I'm looking for is this -- and I don't even know if it can be done in PSE.

For the Artisan Notebook we have been asked to do some extractions recently. For example my daughter dancing around, or my kids jumping in the air. I'm now working on a completely different page, but I have three poses of my daughter either sitting or standing. I would love to find out how in the world to make a good drop shadow for either or sitting or standing pose. (Something like a real shadow would be from the sun on to the ground if the person were outside in that pose.)

    Any ideas?

I am glad that these videos have been helpful! There are usually multiple ways to do the same things in PS, so keep that in mind. I am working on requests and one was for cleaning up photos. I hope this basic tutorial will be helpful.

Cloning and Healing in PhotoShop Video Tutorial

I will try to get to all requests as soon as I can.

Holly, can you send me one of the photos you mention so I can use your photo in the tutorial? I think I know what you are looking for. Thanks!
