I've just gotta tell you!
When I was about six/eight weeks pregnant with my youngest I lost my job due to down-sizing, and being pregnant it's never easy getting another one as no one wants to employ someone who is scheduled to leave again soon, so when my maternity-leave is over I don't have a job to go back to.
In my country we have a very special type of parental-leave-system. Each child that is born is allotted 450 days of parental-leave. 60 days each are earmarked for each parent (total 120), assuming you share custody, and the other 330 days you can share between you as best you wish. Great huh!
But now I feel I'm drifting away from the subject.
So, anyway! My DH is scheduled to take over parental-leave at the earliest of May 1 so I haven't yet started to apply for jobs more than if I see an ad that interests me by chance. I have not yet started looking for these ads...
But! Twice now I have had a phone-call from a recruiter thinking I'm interesting enough to him. The first job they wanted someone to start immediately (so that's not for me) but today he called about another one where they wanted someone to start in... *drum-roll* MAY! So now I have landed myself an interview on Monday morning.
I'm meeting a guy about a job I haven't even applied for.
On top of that I have already been on one interview for a temporary position and am waiting to hear real soon if I got that one or not.
I feel like I've grown about a foot after each time this recruiter-guy calls me.![]()
