    organizing brushes

I have the hardest time organizing my brushes. I use an abr viewer, so I know what I am looking at, and I have re-named most of my brushes into categories. But this is my question. I just read an article that said to never store your brushes in your editing program, but keep them in a file, separated into categories. If you don't load them, how do you use them? Do you have to find one you want to use, close your editing program, load it, use it, then delete it when you are done? That just sounds like a lot of work, and I haven't been able to make a brush usable just by clicking the bush icon in a folder.

Ideas? How do you keep yours organized?

I wonder if they mean just to copy the file into your editing program? That's what I do. I keep the originals in a separate folder and put a copy into PSE. So if I lose them in my program all I have to do is re-install them instead of buying them again or hunting them down online. Did that make sense??

BTW, I do the same thing with my actions.
