Journaling: When Corbin came home from school and said he had to buzz his hair, I almost fell over. He loved his sweet shag and dreaded even the slightest trim. (Strangely enough, I had just trimmed it the night before.) But his basketball coach said that the whole team had to have complete buzzes by the next day…for team unity or some such. So we pulled the clippers out and went to it. The change was so shocking that it took weeks for us to get used to. In fact, that night, when he came home from his Mutual activity and stuck his head in my door, I screamed! I thought some burglar had broken in.
