These are some pictures taken in July when I had Collin. What I would like to do, is go find the same picture with each of the kids and fit all four on here. This is definitely one of my favorite LOs that I've done. Mostly because journaling is usually pretty hard for me. I just feel like I have too much to say, too much emotion involved, and it just overwhelms me... so I just skip it all together. NOT a good thing, I know.

For me, there is nothing more sweet than holding your baby in your arms for the first time. It's a beautiful & miraculous thing to watch your baby grow with the expansion of your belly, to feel them move inside your tummy, and to see their beautiful face via an ultrasound. Those things in themselves are truely amazing, but there is nothing that compares to the first time you actually lay eyes on your baby... in the flesh, not on a screen or digital print out. When you get to reach out and touch them... without a barrier between you. When you can hear their cry, smother them with kisses, and then cry yourself because you know they are okay. That moment your baby is taken from your womb and placed on your chest, the first time you hold them in your arms is the sweetest thing in life. For me, nothing compares... nothing can even come close.
