You were such a beautiful baby. You had a head full of soft, brown hair, you had the most perfect pouty lips and beautiful pink cheeks. The nurses in the Japanese hospital immediately fell in love with you and said you look just like a living baby doll. After we took you home, that was the most frequent compliment that you received from friends and neighbors - that you look just like a doll. Even Mommy - and especially Daddy - were completely smitten by your beauty. Daddy would hold you for the longest time, just gazing at your face. Of course we are biased and would have thought you were beautiful regardless. Even so, you really did look just like a beautiful baby doll.
